★What's my beef with Konami★

A few years ago, I actually found myself liking Konami during the Tele-DAD format which was one of the Golden Ages of YuGiOh TCG. It was the greatest format In my opinion because it actually took the most skill. If I had to choose between that format and now, it would almost be deciding whether to die in an electric chair or drown in the delicious pool of cherry coolade.

Why has the game come to this mess, you ask? Because Konami loves eating shit and after eating it, it regurgitates it into our eyes.

The difference between Bushiroad and Konami is that every time Bushiroad tries to go after our wallets, it isn't a million dollar wallet puncture. Bushiroad doesn't manage the game that well but that is a discussion for a whole another day. The thing is, Konami tries too hard at sucking it dry. Every time we blow up, they kneel down and begs for more. It actually makes me think of a red light stripper because Konami doesn't actually like you, they're just in it for the money.

I don't know too many franchises that Konami has left that are good. There's one thing to be sure though, Yugioh TCG is definitely going down to the Lake of shitiness.

It's hard to like something after you hated it. It was March 2012's list that completely screwed up everything when they hit plants and some unjustified bans/limits. I know they're doing it to push XYZs which was new at the time, but they succeeded so well, it's sickening.

I understand it's a company, but a company is supposed to do it's job properly to manage it's franchises. Customers aren't satisfied with what they're doing, so therefore people either eat the shit they jizz out or just flat out stop playing the game. I only know one person personally that took the first option. Konami aren't idiots, but they sure can make some stupid decisions like Spellbook Judgment Day. Really, the card not only encourages bad play but it also rewards you for it. I mean, 3 strikes and you're out Konami. That was your first strike. I was going to count March 2013 Banlist as a strike, but that banlist didn't even do anything to the format except kill off Wind-Ups which I'm kind of sore about, it was for good intentions I assume. That was until they released the Elemental Dragons. Is it just me, or it seems like the more cards Konami shits out, the derpier it gets. It's fine and all if the game remains fun. BUT NO, it isn't and hasn't been since the aforementioned Tele-DAD. And no, it wasn't because I played Tele-DAD, but defeating the deck was more of a challenge than today's impossible abomination of a format where no risks are involved. Tele-DAD isn't impossible to beat, but it took a good player to do so. Maybe you couldn't survive a 7-8 round regional with a rogue deck at the time, but hell, you can't do it now either so kindly up yours. For Example, DOTE wasn't impossible to beat in Vanguard, it just needed a brain and a half to do so. Yeah, it's broken as hell, but the game remained fun and many good memories came from it just like Tele-DAD.

Konami had the freedom to open card design and look what shit they churned out. Christ, it's like the Crusade never happened according to them because of how fucked up their decisions are. I really begin to doubt their intelligence. The player base just makes it all worse when they hype up cards and increase the secondary market price like a flying shit smearing out an exponential graph.
You're welcome! *I couldn't finish my lunch....can you?*
Look, my point is that Konami is just looking for money and NOTHING ELSE. they need to take a page out of Bushiroad's book and make this game not hold out a gigantic sign saying ONLY MY RICH BITCHES. The cheapest meta deck in CFV is the deck that nobody plays, but it's just as effective as a thousand dollar DOTE Deck. Every deck can be meta in CFV. When we turn over to Konami, what do we see as meta, the newest shit on the market. It's like saying Jeremy Lin completely invalidates Lebron James cause he's the new star. Ha, not fucking likely.

Two more strikes, and then, I've completely lost hope in the game and never coming back to it unless they beg me and become my personal shoe licker. They treated me and other players like a cashcow and god did I hated that feeling.
